Like a japanese man, who
even now
holds consequence in his hands?

And wrapped around his neck, carefully

An ascot scarf handkerchief
a small shawl, wound tightly?

and a body of water
whose confident effervescence
confronts us no more or less
is ebullient
I don't know why.

[You can be careful with complacency]

You can be careful with complacency
because natural laws exist
like here,
in our addled state:
the horizion is a line
of a sort.
and the sun; the sun

And the halfpipe knows the distance between both sides.
and the quarterpipe
sings.

and i can see through that shirt
to whatever you're wearing
underneath it.

A Ghost?

watching
my progress up or down a hill.

is really neither.
(whose progress
can claim assurity?)

and in the dark,
a lithium,

a bit of sparkle
can always seem
immediate, illusory.

[A summer poem]

You, there
or two lines
planted firmly in the ground

our tousled features
both blown by a wind
playful and yielding.

Please, Symmetry

Visible light
has many types
its cohesion is lame

A region's
strong choate response
will operate the same;

the unseen weight
of armature
will be as heavy as
accrued: the rain,
or snow.
And built
an obfuscating mask--

the Telegraph
or other means
bisect it while connecting

both sides
as if both sides alone
belied the whole abject thing.
