from: "the Theme to Desperation"
The following photograph is a production shot from the set of the new film "the Theme to Desperation." In it, I star as a middling, and disobedient son living off his parent's money while attending the local large state university. A string of supernatural mishaps slowly eat away at the protagonist's sense of self, and discourage and optimistic world-view. Relationships with his contemporaries disintegrate to a (sometimes) state of monosyllabic grunts. An unseen, but often heard about MacGuffin offers him salvation through the work of a infamous physicist, who is also a national pariah due to his much-reported-upon pedophilia. The film climaxes as the protagonist with MacGuffin (still hid in a black leather attaché) in tow, encounters his wrathful father on the steps of a druidic stone altar deep in the woods outside Montpelier. ¶ This shot was taken while filming a scene roughly in the middle of the film. The protagonist squats desperately in his apartment after shattering a highball glass in his hand.
